Emergency services workers have cut a woman out of her car after a serious accident on the Monaro Highway on Saturday.

The single vehicle crash occurred around 7.50am at the intersection of the Highway and Isabella Drive.

Police said the car flipped, trapping the driver in her car. She is believed to have been the only occupant of the white Magna.

Ambulance officers attended the scene and took the woman to Canberra Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
