ACT Policing are looking for witnesses to the accident, which closed the southbound lanes of the road for five hours.
“Around 1 am the driver of a dark green Ford Laser was travelling north along Yamba Drive near Isaacs. It appears the driver has entered the median strip and crossed onto the incorrect side of the road just after Dorsch Street,” it said in a statement.
“The car has rolled several times before coming to rest upright in the southbound lanes. The driver, a 27-year-old woman from O’Connor, suffered serious injuries as a result. She was taken to The Canberra Hospital for medical treatment.”
