The ACT government spent $315,000 improving Yamba Drive in Mawson, O'Malley, Farrer and Isaacs.
Linemarking and signage improvements were undertaken at the intersections of Yamba Drive and the south end of Julia Flynn Avenue and Yamba Drive and Dookie Street, Minister for Roads and Parking Mick Gentleman said.
Linemarking was also done on other sections of Yamba Drive as well as on sections of shared path throughout Isaacs.
Other works included barrier and reflector improvements along Yamba Drive, guide sign improvements, cycle safety signage, and maintenance works to the kerb along Yamba Drive.
"These improvements will ensure motorists and other road users on Yamba Drive can use the roads as safely and efficiently as possible," Mr Gentleman said.
