Canberra's first Zara boutique will open its doors in ''early March'' after a recruitment process to rival a Hunger Games-style battle.
Local fashion lovers who wish to serve, fold and steam for Zara will be put through a public test to see how far their passion for fashion goes, according to a new job advertisement published online on Monday.
Canberra applicants will undergo group interviews in order to become sales assistants for one of the world's most revered names in high-street and fast fashion.
The advertisement calling for casual and full-time staff members states all applicants must have ''a minimum of six months experience in a customer-facing role and experience working to deadlines and under pressure''.
Signage for the store, the Spanish chain's sixth in Australia, was erected on the top floor of the Civic Centre on December 19.
''We are very happy and excited to open our newest store in Canberra Centre.
''We don't have a confirmed opening date yet,'' Zara spokeswoman Miren Mendoza told Fairfax at the time.
