        • Johnny. Port go into the game two games clear on top. Sydney have been said to be the side showing best form in the comp, over the last month or so. It's therefore a silly comment to say a loss here is the start of Ports decline. Who do you support. I support Carlton and have the utmost respect for this Port team. If they don't win it this year, they are likely to on the next couple. Well Coached, good list and quality young players.

        • Go Blues. Hook line and sinker. Sucked in matey. Until they win the flag they have not succeeded. Couple of injuries will derail the whole show. Doesn't matter who has the utmost respect for them; it matters how they go in the finals.

If they don't lose the next GF they are in by 20 goals that will prove they are not on the decline.

          • Good win to the Swans. A truly great side hardened by finals and in GFs now consistently for about a decade. The Powerwobbles show how frail they are as a club by the disgraceful capitulation in 2007.
If they win the GF in 2014 it still does not erase the disgrace of 2007. Twenty goals!!
They lost to the Suns in their first year too. History making for sure. Pompous too.

          • NO, Go Blues. Your comment is rubbish. When interviewed Glass himself said he should have retired last year as he didn't really think his body could go another season! Those comments are straight from the donkey's mouth - so you know more than he does!!!

        • Rohan. That's the way. Rubb salt into this Blues supporters wound mentioning the former Blue with seven. Seriously though Carlton would have a decent forward line with him or a player like him, what's your thoughts?

        • Have the Eagles stolen defeat from the jaws of victory?. Or is it a credit to the Suns?

        • Coast to coast. Well done Aussie Rules. Somewhat better than soccer.
Great game and a great code. So Go Blues are you going to jump to defence of soccer? Its not like soccer needs you to.

          • Johnny. Firstly I think Aussie Rules is the best game in the world, Secondly I support all our National Teams. Thirdly I have little respect for anyone that bags other codes. All sports are good. The worst people are the ones that troll sports sites bagging the sport.

          • Johnny. Maybe because, even though I support Carlton I am still able to admire and respect both players from other clubs and Clubs efforts. Eg Geelong, the sustained success since 2007 with no high draft picks is to be admired and respected. Hawthorns recruiting to have a strong list depth, recent Premierships I respect. Ports turn around from a laughing stock 3 years ago I admire. Maybe my real life's experiences has taught me to not be petty. Like all I'm entitled to my views. Re asking Rohans views. Maybe I respect his views as a journalist. Respect look it up in the Dictionary, nice word

        • don't be too hard on Go Blues...he follows a club that is only one of a few clubs that have not seen a grand final this century! Quite obviously it hurts.

            • Your funny. I'm 49 and have seen Carlton win enough flags in that time to be happy, more than most clubs at that
