      • If Carlton stop giving teams huge starts, and add two quality tall Defenders we might be a Finals team. Envious of the Pies they have unearthed some quality young Defenders

          • Calm down buddy it's a comment section about afl and if you read my comment carefully you'll find it's about afl?! I think you'll find most "sports commentators" in Australia really think afl is the only game on the planet. Sad really as 20odd million in this country couldn't give a toss about it.

        • Dale Thomas was shown the door by Buckley. He didn't quit and walk out on Collingwood. The Pies supporters booing him tonight have no class.

          • Dale Thomas was a required player at the Pies. However, his market value was way lower than what he wanted. After 3 years of telling all his teammates to stay and be part of something he went the mercenary route. Used to love him - but if he wants to go elsewhere for more money than what he is really worth good luck to the Blues throwing good money after bad!

            • agree with both comments. I was sad to see Betts leave , but he gave good service at Carlton and players aren't in the game forever so if the money's better elsewhere good luck. Betts has his financial security to think about. I was pleased to see his form at th crows today
