Bombers general manager football operations Rob Kerr said in a statement that both players had shown commitment during their time at the club and had played well in the VFL this season.
"Lauchlan and Kurt have endured injury interrupted seasons, and they should be commended for their dedication and professionalism to get back out on the football field," he said.
Dalgleish, 22, played three games for the Bombers, none in 2015.
Aylett played one game for Greater Western Sydney in 2012 and was traded to the Bombers at the end of 2013.
Essendon de-listed him at the end of last year, then picked him up again as a rookie draft.
Aylett played two games in the red and black.
There are now five players who are certainly leaving Essendon - Dustin Fletcher, Jason Winderlich and Paul Chapman are all retiring.
