AS FREMANTLE was forced to replace four players for tomorrow night's clash with Essendon, the Bombers reacted to their two-game losing run by dropping three.
With Aaron Sandilands (toe), Stephen Hill (ankle), Hayden Ballantyne (suspended) and Zac Dawson (knee) unable to line up for the Dockers, Essendon dropped Ricky Dyson, Sam Lonergan and Tom Bellchambers.
Bomber ruckman David Hille returns for his first match since round two, at the expense of Bellchambers, while Kyle Reimers will play his second match of the season. Defender Michael Hibberd and rookie forward Cory Dell'Olio were recalled.
The Dockers replaced their quartet with Nick Lower, Alex Silvagni, Zac Clarke and Jayden Pitt.
Collingwood named a bolstered squad for its clash with West Coast tomorrow. The Pies lost Alan Didak (adductor) and Ben Sinclair (ankle), and dropped Tom Young, while regaining a trio of defenders, Ben Reid, Heath Shaw and Alan Toovey.
West Coast replaced Will Schofield (hamstring) and Adam Selwood (infection) with Mitch Brown and Beau Waters.
Melbourne slotted Rohan Bail into its team after two games out with concussion, while Joel Macdonald, Matthew Bate and Troy Davis were named on an extended bench for Sunday's clash with Greater Western Sydney. Brad Green has been ruled out for two matches with a hip injury, while Luke Tapscott is suspended.
The Giants regained Nathan Wilson and Jack Hombsch, and named Jonathan Giles and Will Hoskin-Elliott on an expanded bench.
Brisbane Lions strengthened their side with the inclusions of Simon Black and Ash McGrath for the match against the Western Bulldogs, who named Tom Campbell, fresh off the rookie list, to make his debut.
