Their inaugural win came in Canberra and now the Greater Western Sydney Giants want to use the capital to celebrate another landmark, as their pursuit of Adelaide Crows star Kurt Tippett continues.

The Giants have their fingers crossed Tippett will have signed with the competition's newest club when they visit the ACT for a community camp next month.
Tippett's future remains in limbo as he awaits the findings of the AFL Commission regarding payments outside the salary cap while at the Crows. The Giants are ready to pounce if the 25-year-old is forced into the AFL draft and are prepared to match his $1 million per season asking price.
Giants co-captain Phil Davis, who played alongside Tippett at the Crows from 2009 to 2011, would love the powerful key forward to make the trip to Canberra next month.
''Hopefully we can get Kurty and bring him down to Canberra,'' Davis said. ''He's a great player and someone that can improve our side, not just in the future but immediately.
''We just have to wait for the AFL Commission to run its course.''
Tippett's addition would add star quality to a promising forward line already featuring young guns Jeremy Cameron and Jonathan Patton.
The Giants will be in Canberra on December 4 and 5, visiting schools, hospitals and junior clubs and meeting fans and club members.
They made an immediate mark in their first year of a decade-long partnership last season, beating the Gold Coast Suns at Manuka Oval for their first win in club history.
The Giants will again bring four games to Canberra next year, kicking off with the first night match at Manuka Oval against James Hird's Essendon in the NAB Cup on March 8. They will then play St Kilda in the first AFL premiership match under lights in Canberra - in round three on April 13 - followed by Gold Coast in round five and Western Bulldogs in round 15.
Former Marist College student Davis said the community camp was a perfect opportunity for the Giants to give back to their supporters.
''It's really exciting for the football club to spread the game around Canberra,'' he said.
''We had over 3000 members in Canberra last year and won the first game in the club's history there in front of a very vocal and pro-Giants crowd.
''It's our home away from home.''
