Scott is facing allegations of kicking and abusing a security guard at Blundstone Arena, an incident that allegedly happened during North Melbourne's win over Richmond in Tasmania.
Scott would not say whether he had spoken to police, who on Tuesday issued a statement asking for witnesses to contact them.
North Melbourne are said to be satisfied and comfortable with Scott's version of events.
The Kangaroos will play Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
The Bombers have endured a turbulent week, with the World Anti-Doping Agency announcing it would appeal an AFL anti-doping tribunal decision which found 34 past and present Essendon players not guilty of taking banned substances.
But Essendon have throughout the saga often played strong football after difficult weeks.
Scott said he would be concentrating on his team, not the Bombers, because he was not particularly happy with the way the Roos had played against Richmond, despite taking home the win.
