VICTORIA has witnessed this country's greatest natural disaster. Worse than Black Friday. Worse than Ash Wednesday. That is the grim sum of a catastrophe that already exceeds all others — and which threatens to grow worse.

Terror, loss and acts of quiet courage have marked Australia's worst natural disaster.

Share your thoughts and feelings with the victims of the Victorian fire tragedy.

Mother nature has a strange way of looking after her planet, bringing so much pain and greif, maybe now we shall learn to respect her a little more, without abusing her, to all that have suffered, we all share in your heartache and pain. To the people that have lite these fires, I hope mother nature finds you and soon!!

God Bless those people who are helping all affected by this disaster. Messages of condolence are great, but we need to help. If you can, donate blood, some blankets, food, toys, anything that will be of use to all those who have lost anything. I know I will.

From halfway around the world, with friends and future family in Victoria and close to the fires -- Bunyip, Emerald, etc. -- we have been following this for days now, wondering when the news would reach the rest of the world. Today, it has, and we hope that you know that the world is worrying and hoping and praying for all of you. And now we see you wonderful Aussies on tv, being so brave and helpful to each other, as you always have been to others in disasters around the world. It is your turn for our help and hope and prayers. And we can hardly wait for our planned trip to Victoria next summer. We know we will not see it as it was -- but we will see the same brave Aussies, as they always have been. Bless you all.
