McCalman to miss Sth African rugby tour
Western Force flanker Ben McCalman will miss the club's two-game Super Rugby tour of South Africa due to a shoulder nerve injury.
McCalman missed three games earlier this season with a similar injury, and has been ruled out of games against the Cheetahs and Sharks.
The Force are hopeful the 24-year-old will be able to return for the May 20 clash with the Rebels in Perth.
In his absence, fellow Wallaby Richard Brown is expected to regain his place in the starting line-up after being relegated to the bench for last week's 17-3 loss to the Stormers.
Force forwards' coach Nick Stiles said the player group remained as motivated as ever, despite the recent departure of head coach Richard Graham and Will Genia's shock backflip to remain at the Reds.
"You don't get to this level unless you're motivated," Stiles said.
"To think just because we've had a change in structure, that they're going to lose motivation - that's not going to happen."
The Force sit last in the Australian conference after netting just two wins from their opening nine games.
