Australian Building and Construction Commission an expensive deliverance

Malcolm Turnbull paid a very high price for some important psychological wins this week. His parliamentary year has finished with an act to (re-)establish a building and construction commission. Another measure he took to a double dissolution, the Registered Organisations Bill, also passed through the Senate. And there is now legislation to tax, albeit at a concessional rate, backpackers required to pick fruit as a price of their visa. This Turnbull government delivers.
