Midweek auctions were conducted on Wednesday before a rest for the territory's auctioneers on Saturday.
Agents were still busy at open inspections but no auctions were scheduled.
A four-bedroom home opposite the North Ainslie Primary School sold under the hammer on Wednesday just after midday.
The charming home at 66 Sherbrooke Street had flowing interiors with open plan living, polished timber floors, timber mantle and feature timber benches in the modern kitchen.
The home was on a private and secure 639 square metre block and had low maintenance landscaped garden and a paved outdoor area with a shade cover and outdoor bath. Luton Properties Dickson sales agent Holly Komorowski said there had been quite a lot of groups come through to inspect the property and there were two registered bidders.
Just one party placed bids on the home and it sold under the hammer following an increased offer of $663,000.
Ms Komorowski said the home had been well maintained and was in a great location for a family being just across the road from the primary school.
A builder's own home at 36 Oodgeroo Avenue in Franklin sold before its scheduled auction late on Wednesday for $1.065 million through LJ Hooker Dickson agents Stephen Bunday and Nic Salter-Harding.
The two-storey home had a huge 374 square metres of living area between the four-bedroom en suite family residence and a two-bedroom studio apartment that could be used for a home business, or a rental opportunity.
Features of the home included a stunning main bedroom with a huge walk-in-wardrobe, with an en suite with an oversized bath and rainforest shower, a gourmet kitchen with Brazilian stone benches, a media room with built-in speakers and a covered entertaining area.
