The first release of blocks to the public on Sunday led to 23 sales at an average price of about $282,000 for larger parcels of an average size of 718 square metres.
When combined with sales made previously to builders, 113 blocks have changed hands for an average price of about $263,800 – or $29.81 million combined.
Village Building Co managing director Bob Winnel said he was delighted with the public’s response to the new development south of Hume.
“There is strong and growing interest in Tralee Village and we are now looking forward to commencing work on building the Tralee Village community,” Mr Winnel said.
Sixty blocks remain available for to buy now, with an average size of 592 square metres for all 173 lots.
The final 85 freehold standard residential lots – on elevated land in the south of Tralee village – will be released in two weeks.
Village Building Co said in a statement it would release affordable house-and-land packages – with three-bedroom homes priced from $389,900 to $535,000 – in early April.
The 303-hectare community will house nearly 10,000 residents in 3500 homes once completed.
Infrastructure is set to include sporting facilities, two schools, a childcare and health centre and a "Manuka-style café and shopping precinct".
