Fifty Shades author writes 'how-to' guide

Inspiration ... bestselling author E L James.

E L James' latest project is a journal that also offers a few tips on one of life's most enduring passions: writing.

Vintage Books announced on Monday that James has collaborated with the publisher on Fifty Shades of Grey: Inner Goddess (A Journal).

James' new book includes lined pages for readers to set down their own ideas, or "inner goddess." It also contains a foreword by the author, professional advice and excerpts from her work.

Vintage, a paperback imprint of Random House, says the journal will have a soft leather cover. The Inner Goddess journal will be published on May 1.

James' erotic Fifty Shades trilogy was acquired by Vintage last year and has sold more than 70 million copies worldwide. The first novel is currently being adapted for the screen but the author says it's only in the early stages and they are a long way from casting the two lead characters.

The bestselling author dropped hints last month about her next fiction novel, saying it won't be as raunchy as the Fifty Shades trilogy and may be published under a different name.

She may have made a motza from those books but it doesn't mean she is a good writer, she desperately needs to take classes in grammar and sentence construction, these were the two reasons I gave up reading Fifty Shades Of Grey.

The most unqualified person on the face of the earth is giving advice on how to write. If this sells even a single copy I will lose all faith in humanity.

So many laundries nowadays.It used to be crates of records dumped of container ships,now the dolphins ,tired of the sound of music,are all reading "literature" Ill bet.

I think this should be retitled "how-NOT-to". I cringe to think this pathetic excuse for an author will actually make more money with this farcical parody of what surely must go down as the worst written book of modern times. Obviously NOT a fan.
