It did for me anyway after I saw him over the weekend at the annual Rottofest Comedy Festival.
Think of any taboo or disturbing image and he pokes fun at it.
The Holocaust, 9/11, domestic violence, sexual assault, molestation, family issues, murder, cancer – yep, he goes there.
He's not about cheap shots though and laughs and gasps for shock value, he's the Bret Easton Ellis of the comedy world – he's dark and he's as funny as hell (a place where he probably came from).
I would quote some of his gags here but they are far too explicit and clever that I wouldn't be be to do them justice (plus I'd probably lose my job or end up in jail).
Jeselnik started out as a writer on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon television show before he discovered he wanted to write for himself and took joined the stand up comedy community in the US.
"I was writing things and the producers were like Jimmy can't say that, that's better suited to the Anthony Jeselnik show so I thought well that's what I want to be doing," he told WAtoday.com.au.
From here he was selected by Comedy Central to "roast" Donald Trump, Charlie Sheen and Roseanne Barr.
A stage where he also got to take pot shots at Snoop Dogg, Mike Tyson and deaf actress Marlee Matlin.
He was one of the panellists involved in all televised "roasts" who was forced to remove jokes as they "went too far".
"There were some that [Comedy Central] was like, 'You can't even say this in the room.'"
"I just take all the worst things in the world, basically like the worst things ever that people don't like to joke about and make as many jokes about them as I can," he added.
Come January he will has him own show on Comedy Central which will discuss news people don’t like admitting to reading but always do like "a wife dismembering her husband in a fit of rage".
He'll now embark on his first Australian tour.
