THERE'S a terpsichorean culture clash at the heart of this cheery 3D dance movie. In one corner, street style; in the other, classical ballet.

The cast includes Charlotte Rampling and Eleanor Bron, as well as successful acts from the Britain's Got Talent TV show - including the dance crew Diversity, which defeated Susan Boyle.

Rampling plays a ballet school principal who offers rehearsal space to the leader of a street dance crew, as long as some of her pupils can be part of the team.

The leader, perky Carly (Nichola Burley), is not happy with the deal - no one is - but does not think she has much choice. The national titles are only weeks away and the dance crew needs somewhere to practise.

Can Carly combine the two cultures? Can pirouettes be reconciled with popping and locking? The answers are provided with some vigorous entertainment.
