It’s safe to say Perez Hilton no longer calls Lady Gaga his “wifey”, following a capslock-riddled spat which unfolded on social media between the Applause singer and the US gossip blogger.

The drama unfolded after Hilton critiqued Gaga’s new single lamenting it “unrelatable” and “a few steps backwards”.
She then hit back suggesting the blogger taunted her via text following her hip injury which forced her to cancel a number of shows earlier this year.
“Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w [with] the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident,” Gaga tweeted.
The fight continued over the weekend when LA-based Hilton was reportedly house hunting in Gaga’s native New York when she accused him of stalking her on Twitter.
The feud escalated when Hilton, who is also a father to a six-month-old son, began receiving death threats from Gaga’s fans – also known as her Little Monsters.
“I love New York and that is where me and my growing family want to call home right now… My realtor showed us a list of possible apartments to rent. I learned only after the fact that Lady Gaga lives in one of the buildings we looked at, and she was across the country in Los Angeles when I viewed that building,” Hilton said via a statement.
“I am devastated and my heart hurts that my former very good friend, a person I used to call my ‘wifey’ and traveled the world with, is making very public and very untrue allegations about me on Twitter.
“While it is still too painful for me to go into detail about why I chose to no longer make her a part of my life, I will say that I am a critic and not a ‘stalker’.”
Gaga has since deleted the tweets and is now encouraging her 39 million Twitter followers to, “Ignore him. Just dance.”
This most recent fight follows a lengthy legal battle which is raging between Gaga’s friend Wendy Starland and former producer Rob Fusari.
Starland is suing Fusari for revenues she felt she was owed for discovering the artist formerly known as Stefani Germanotta.
According to TMZ, Gaga appealed to the judge presiding over the case to have “sensitive, private and personal” information from the hearing filed under seal.
“Gaga claims that if the info went public, it would ‘inflict significant personal and professional harm upon’ her,” TMZ reported.
Gaga will debut her new single at next week's MTV Video Music Awards.
