Crace resident Lisa Johnston has won the first ever Crace Cook-Off competition held at the suburb's demonstration village on Saturday night.
Lisa was declared the winner of the competition, which saw six finalists going head-to-head in the kitchen for two hours.
"I am so excited, I can't believe it," says Lisa.
"My sticky date puddings have been part of every major milestone in my life.
"Every bite reminds me of special moments I have shared with my family," she says.
Lisa won a trip for two to Sydney including dinner at Manu Feildel's restaurant L'etoile and a night's accommodation at the Hilton.
Celebrity chef Pete Evans headed the judging panel with The Canberra Times Food and Wine editor Kirsten Lawson, and Mix 106.3's Rod and Biggzy.
