I'm giving this a 4-star review because I haven't seen the film. In addition, it is unlikely that I'll be seeing this film for fear that it'll just break my heart as to how prevalent bullying is in schools. Bullying has been going on since the dawn of man and will continue to be a problem. Unfortunately, the rise of social media has unnecessarily compounded the issue. For the life of me, I can't get my head around the reasons why some schools/teachers/various authorities choose to turn a blind eye.

Jojo -
I hope you will one day come to understand the devastating callousness of your entirely unkind words and thoughts. On such a day you may well feel your heart break at the distress you have caused through such a judgemental, ignorant and simplistic outlook on an extremely complicated world.

This def should be seen by everyone. Growing up in Australia I experienced sooo much bullying from Anglo Australians for being a 'wog'. It didn't help matters that I was also a highly critical thinker and extremely creative. From school to weekend dance classes, the pack mentality of these kids and their constant abuse was relentless and exhausting. They would attack, and if I defended myself someone would 'cry' and because they 'cried' it was assumed I was the liar. Luckily however, it made me tougher not weaker not to mention very astute at seeing through false people praised by others.

Looking forward to see this movie, it is more sad as those who simply turn blind eye on the victim of a bully instead of tryng to help in any other way to stop the pain.

One thing that does make this a uniquely US problem is that in the US children are only allowed to attend schools in their district. So if the parents want to move their child to another school, they have to move to another area. That means the children who get bullied often do not have the option of leaving one school and going to another for a new start. Luckily, we have that option open to us here.

Okay, I admit it: this is not a review. But I just wanted to point out the irony of the "Bully" review being placed above an article on Kyle Sandilands. Which goes to prove the reviewer's point that bullying is not isolated to the United States.

Suicide is the number 10 cause of death, of males, in Australia and America.
Please don't keep your feelings bottled-up inside. Trust someone with your greatest fears! Call a helpline. It is easier to cope and work through our despair, if we have someone to express our thoughts to. There is no problem that is so big it cannot be solved.
Tomorrow is a new day and the world is a big place.
