  So many good actresses of substance unfortunately let down by a soft leading man ( And I do like Rpats in some other films) and a bit too tricky story. It had good recipe but did not bake properly.

  yep, frothy costume drama, but pretty enjoyable one none the less, and Pattinson's character is supposed to be shallow and one dimensional, so he's spot on. Sets and costumes were great, it's a good way to pass a few hours on a winter's day.
