Hasselhoff to record 1976 Angels classic
David Hasselhoff to record an acoustic version of the 1976 hit Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again.
Baywatch star David Hasselhoff will record a classic Angels song to benefit stricken frontman Doc Neeson.
Hasselhoff, who has just kicked off a short Aussie tour, will team up with Choirboys frontman Mark Gable, Angels drummer Buzz Bidstrip and Baby Animals guitarist Dave Leslie.
They will record an acoustic version of the 1976 hit Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again.
The song will be released on iTunes and all profits will go to The Doc Neeson Support Fund and Support Act Ltd, a non profit organisation set up to support members of the Australian music community who are dealing with adversity.
Hasselhoff is reportedly including The Angels tune on his Australian tour, and apparently doesn't have a problem with the traditional audience response, which includes several expletives.
Neeson was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour and put on an immediate course of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
