I have a copy of "My Journey" and love it! The only thing heavy on the dramatics is the weight of the descriptions of the artists in this story! The way you describe Karise belting the snot out of "Halelujah" and "Stay With Me Baby" sounds like you're saying she destroyed them. She sang Halelujah in a key where she had to belt it to demonstrate her powerful upper reaches and "release the beast" and pretty much everyone sings Stay with me something like that... you want to see drama? Have a look at Bette Midler's 1980 version of Stay with me, OMG!! But no mention of the great job Karise did with Seal's choice of "taming the beast" songs, "Nothing's Real But Love" and "Landslide", huh?! Yes, Daren's a nice singer but none of the guys on that show did it for me this time and Sarah DeBono's the second most marketable voice of the 4, but came last of the final 4. Rachael has a beautiful choclatey lower register but can't hold the delicate or high notes without faultering to some degree. All 4 deserved to be there in the end but the order should've been Karise, Sarah, Daren, Rachael.

Guys, why has it taken nearly 3 week to publish my review? I sent that review in on the 28th of July 2012. Karise has SINCE completed an Australia wide sing and greet tour of Westfield shopping centres, spent seven weeks @ #1 in the ARIA album charts, won double ARIA awards for her DEBUT album, "My Journey" for double platinum sales and is now in the UK for a month to gain inspiration and do some writing / co-writing for her next album, before returning to do another Australia wide concert tour under the banner of "Heavenly Sounds" in some of Australias most beautiful Churches and Cathedrals. People, your story and my "review" are so yesterdays news now, it's not funny.
