This unique film reminded me of Nicholas Roeg visionary film THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH. That film had startling and original cinematography and UNDER THE SKIN main selling point is it's unique look and feel. UNDER THE SKIN is not as ambitious and epic or conspiratorial as what Nicholas Roeg achieved with his soft-porn mindbender but UNDER THE SKIN will have people talking as to what it all means. Everything is in there through the visual story-telling of the cinematography. It has a strong internal logic through the meaning of it's visuals but some viewers will be scratching their heads.

Scarlett's portrayal of an alien set down in the bleak Scottish landscape was a completely mesmerising and and accomplished performance.
The original film score effectively helped create the necessary mood of strangeness and alienation of a non-human encountering a place inhabited by human beings
    A strangely beautiful film.Loved it!
