Entertain us: Adam Zwar
Adam Zwar, Wilfred creator, television writer and actor.
Do you go to the cinema much or do you prefer watching DVDs at home?
DVDs at home. Too many people have decided it's OK to talk loudly to each other during films or, worse, answer their mobile phones. I've tried to stem the tide, but it's too much for one man.
Before Wilfred, which stage or screen dog was your favourite?
Timmy from The Famous Five. Scooby-Doo wasn't bad either.
I've seen Elijah Wood doing jazz hands on the set of the US version of Wilfred. Is it cool to see the former hobbit getting down on set?
Absolutely. He's a compelling and very funny actor. It's an honour to have him on the show.
You've created the show Agony Aunts for the ABC. Who would you secretly love as a personal 'Agony Aunt'?
Judge Judy. Men are like dogs, they need rules. And JJ delivers them clearly and succinctly.
Do you listen to music at home? If so, which albums or songs?
I like my musicians to wear suits and sing about lost love - take a bow Frank Sinatra, Leonard Cohen and Johnny Cash.
Who was your teenage pop or rock idol?
Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin. Don't frown. He's a legend.
If you could star alongside anyone in a movie or a TV series, who would it be?
Larry David, Garry Shandling and Ricky Gervais. [It] would be like playing comedy State of Origin.
Do you use Facebook and Twitter - and do you enjoy it?
Facebook and I often fall out. But my relationship with Twitter [@adamzwar] hasn't missed a beat. I think it's serious.
