The pleasures of Marieke Hardy and Kirsty Fisher's droll and quietly savage black comedy rests in the details - the skin-crawling ickiness of alleged sexual healer Marcus (Damon Herriman), the momentary lapses of sanity in Zach (Toby Truslove) and, of course, the witty exchanges between Roo (Alison Bell) and E.J. (Celia Pacquola).
Tonight, there's a rapprochement of sorts between the girlfriends, an amusing visit to a couples retreat and sinister manoeuvring by the aforementioned Marcus, the only man on TV who can make Shameless's Frank Gallagher look halfway decent.
