'Scary' addition to 2Day FM breakfast

Spice Girl Mel B, former Triple M DJ Merrick Watts, singer and actress Sophie Monk and former Getaway host Jules Lund will take over Kyle and Jackie O's breakfast slot on 2Day FM.
The announcement, which comes after much speculation, was made on the Nine Network's Today show and on air on 2Day FM on Friday morning.
Speaking on Today in a video cross from Los Angeles, Mel B said she'll be travelling between the US and Australia to manage the job.

"I'm so excited, this is going to be one hell of a roller coaster ride," she said.
"I just can't wait, to be honest."
Monk said the new hosts would bring a contemporary twist to the station.

"What I like about it is there's two very strong women and you guys are very emotional so its a very modern dynamic," she joked.
Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O, real name Jacqueline Henderson, will move to Sydney's KIIS 1065, currently known as MIXFM, from January 2014.
Current MIX breakfast hosts Sami Lukis and Yumi Stynes have been dumped to make way for the popular 2Day FM duo.
Lukis will take up a job as a travel blogger while the Australian Radio Network (ARN), the owner of MIX, says it is hoping to involve Stynes in new shows.
