US singer and choreographer Paula Abdul has been announced as a judge on Network Ten's revamped reality program So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
Abdul will head the judging panel on the show, to be hosted by Carrie Bickmore from The Project, it was announced on Sunday.
A multi-platinum recording artist with sales exceeding over 60 million worldwide, Abdul has won two Emmy Awards for her choreography, in addition to a Grammy, seven MTV Video Awards, two People's Choice Awards and three American Music Awards.
Abdul says she is thrilled to be part of the So You Think You Can Dance Australia team and can't wait to start work on the show.
"Aussie dancers are without a doubt some of the best in the world, and it is an honour for me to be a part of finding Australia's best dancer," Abdul said.
The three other judges named are highly respected choreographer Jason Gilkison, former Tap Dog Aaron Cash and entertainer Shannon Holtzapffel.
So You Think You Can Dance Australia, is set to return in 2014.
