Channel Seven, 8.30pm

Just when you think this glossy drama can't possibly get any kookier, weirder or perverse, along comes an episode packed with still more switcheroos; sleight-of-hand narrative manoeuvres that take us still further into the delicious nastiness of Emily Thorne's (Emily VanCamp) revenge fantasy. All we'll say here is that the clouds of paternity and DNA tests are hovering over the Grayson and Thorne camps, as Conrad and Victoria's increasingly bitter divorce ratchets up the venality and the reasons for Emily stealing Mason Treadwell's interview tapes with her father, David, before setting his house on fire in last week's episode become clear. The ostensible theme of tonight's wonderfully compelling episode is the amount of collateral damage Emily and Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) are prepared to inflict on those unfortunate enough to come within striking distance of Revenge's ground zero. The answer shouldn't be a surprise.
