Revenge stars Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman have announced they're coming to Australia, taking advantage of a production break in the hit Channel Seven drama.
The pair, both first-time visitors to Australia, will be here before the end of the month, a Seven spokesman has confirmed.
In the series, VanCamp stars as the scheming Amanda Clarke who returns to the American millionaires playground that is The Hamptons using the identity of Emily Thorne to take revenge on the people who sent her now-deceased father to prison on false charges when she was nine.
Bowman portrays the wealthy Daniel Grayson, who has found himself unable to resist Emily’s charms - unaware that he is a pawn in her mission to bring down his parents, Victoria and Conrad, who conspired to frame her father and helped institutionalise her as a child.
Nine episodes into the season, Revenge is Australia’s most-watched new drama of 2012 with an audience average of two million viewers.
Production of the 22-episode debut season of Revenge wrapped in the US last week.
VanCamp hails from Ontario, Canada and prior to Revenge was best known for starring roles in the US television dramas, Brothers and Sisters and Everwood. British actor Bowman has worked in film, television and theatre across the UK and US. Both currently reside in Los Angeles.
