Chris and Jenna share hugs with tradies after they took issue with not being paid.
Chris and Jenna have persuaded their builders to stay after they walked off the job on The Block Glasshouse.
And it turns out the judges are out of step with potential buyers, with the latter favouring Max and Karstan's apartment on the Nine Network's reality renovation show.
Chris and Jenna's builders walked off site on Monday, annoyed that they hadn't been paid and feeling taken for granted.
Max and Karstan's apartment wins over the buyers.
The builders were frustrated at Chris' laziness, and Jenna accusing them of not working as a team was the last straw.
"They have found their new lazy people for this series," one of the builders said. "I'm feeling very unappreciated; I don't see them picking up a broom."
Later, Chris and Jenna successfully showed them some love, with a peace summit ending in hugs all around.
"If we lose you guys it would definitely suck," Jenna told the builders.
At the series' halfway mark, if you tallied up all the judges' scores, Michael and Carlene would be in the lead, while Maxine and Karstan would be equal last with Chris and Jenna.
The result flipped after six groups of potential buyers had a stickybeak, giving Maxine and Karstan's north-facing unit the highest score, which nabbed them an extra $5000.
The potential buyers particularly liked the sophisticated master bedroom in Maxine and Karstan's home, as well as the staircase and entry.
They weren't convinced about Michael and Carlene's colour palette but they loved the industrial chic feel of Chris and Jenna's apartment, apart from their powder room/laundry.
Shannon and Simon's large master bedroom and bedhead particularly impressed buyers, while Darren and Deanne's classic style was also a drawcard.
As kitchen week kicked off, Darren and Deanne already ran into trouble, learning the cabinets they had ordered would not fit.
The couple failed to finish their powder room/laundry and staircase last week and also didn't complete their main bedroom because they had to leave to be with their young daughter in hospital.
"I have had two weeks now where I haven't finished a room and there is no way in hell there is going to be a third one," a determined Deanne said.
"I would walk off the show before that happened - and I mean it."
The Block Glasshouse returns to Nine at 7.30pm (AEST) on Tuesday.
