Timomatic announced as next Australia's Got Talent judge
Next man in: Timomatic has been confirmed as the third Australia's Got Talent judge.
Channel Nine has confirmed singer/dancer Timomatic will be the third judge on its reboot of Australia's Got Talent.
The signing of Timomatic, whose real name is Tim Omaji, follows deals with former Spice Girl Mel B and Welsh-born comedy icon Dawn French.
Timomatic appeared on Ten's So You Think You Can Dance in 2009, placing seventh, and then on Seven's fifth season of Australia's Got Talent, placing third.
He was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2012 ARIA awards for his quadruple platinum debut single Set It Off.
“Timomatic is a young Australian singer-songwriter and dancer who has shot to fame around the world,” Nine's director of television Michael Healy said.
"He is sure to complement the skills and views of Mel B and Dawn French as we search for Australia’s next superstar talent."
The final judge for Australia’s Got Talent is set to be announced tomorrow. Topping the list of potential judges is radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands, who emerged from the shadows in the last few weeks as a serious contender.
