West Coast Eagles player Daniel Kerr and wife Natasha have welcomed their second baby girl into the world.
Born this morning, Ruby June Kerr is younger sister to Lola Kerr, who was born in June last year.
The veteran midfielder shared the news with friends via text message, saying that the newest Kerr was born 3,167 grams and that all was well with both mum and baby.
The West Coast Eagles were quick to share the news via Twitter.
"EAGLE ALERT: It's a girl! Welcome to the nest, little Ruby June Kerr. Baby sister to Lola #goeagles" the West Coast Eagles Twitter account posted.
Ten News sports presenter Tim Gossage also took to Twitter to congratulate the pair and joked about a lack of boys being born into the Eagles fold: "Another baby girl for @WestCoastEagles Daniel Kerr. That's two, plus Matthew Priddis' also had a girl, No father-son happening at Eagles. #afl"
Earlier this year, with Ruby June still on the way, Kerr made the decision to sign another two-year contract with the Eagles to keep his growing family at home in Perth.
Ruby June arrives in the middle of what the West Coast Eagles have called their biggest baby boom in club history.
Teammates Matt Priddis, Darren Glass, Dean Cox, Mark LeCras and recently departed Eagle Quinten Lynch all welcomed, or are due to welcome, new additions to their families in the second half of this year.
