Elizabeth Hurley is visiting Perth for the first time ever, with fiancé Shane Warne as her tour guide.

The pair will fly in from Melbourne and spend the day in Perth ahead of the Perth Scorchers match against the Melbourne Stars, of which Warne is captain, at the WACA on Wednesday.

"Looking forward to Perth tomorrow with @warne888. Never been before.....is it sunny?"

Hurley and Warne, whose flirting on Twitter during their early courting days became so unabashed (she once asked for a pair of skimpy underwear with his face on them) that people suspected it was a PR ploy, posted almost identical tweets ahead of their visit.

Hurley tweeted: "Looking forward to Perth tomorrow with @warne888. Never been before.....is it sunny?"

A couple of hours later, Warne tweeted: "Looking forward to taking @ElizabethHurley to Perth, her 1st trip to the west... Hope the sun is shining there too..."

Seaside spots could be the place for star-watching if their followers sightseeing suggestions are anything to go by; in true sandgroper style the top of 29C and showers didn't stem suggestions she bring her bikini and head to the beach.

One Twitter user suggested "Be sure to check out hillaries and fremantle. A-mazing" while another warned "Stay away from Scarborough. For quiet beachside lunch head to Trigg Beach."

The skimpy bathing might be left to Hurley though as earlier this year Warne admitted his family had banned him from wearing budgie smugglers.

"Is it fair my family have banned me from wearing budgie smugglers or should they make a glorious comeback...?" he tweeted.

The engaged couple flew in to Melbourne last week ahead of the Big Bash kick off at Etihad Stadium and were spotted at Crown Casino for a Shane Warne Foundation fundraiser.

For Hurley, however, the rest of their Melbourne trip was spent holed up in Warnie's Brighton home battling jetlag and the flu; she tweeted "Yes, it's 30' outside and yes, I'm lying on the sofa shivering under a blanket...."

The power couple could be in Perth longer than planned if Warne's previous visit is anything to go by. Last time the cricketer visited Perth his luggage was lost, his flight home was cancelled and he got caught up in a Twitter stoush with fake Qantas Twitter account @QantasPR.
