The dramatic first week back at Parliament is likely to bring more dark clouds and rain to the capital, which was otherwise enjoying a cool and fairly dry start to February.

Along with a slight chance of showers on Tuesday, the Bureau of Meteorology said there was a greater chance of a spate of downpours before the week is out.
"There's a high chance of showers and even thunderstorms on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday," Weatherzone meteorologist Kim Westcott said.
Ms Westcott also confirmed the nerve centre of this week's atmospheric turmoil was not up on Capital Hill.
"There's a lingering low pressure trough in the Canberra area, causing the storms to develop," she said.
In terms of temperature, Canberra should "hover around the 30 degree mark" for the rest of the week, according to Ms Westcott.
"It should peak on Wednesday at around 31 degrees, cooling to a top of 26 degrees on Thursday," she said.
"We should see humid mornings with lows of around 15 degrees hang around the most of the week, with humidity sitting around the 70 per cent mark."
The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts Friday and Saturday temperatures will peak at 28 degrees with a medium chance of showers on Friday, rising to a high chance on Saturday.
On Sunday, Canberra is expected to return to Wednesday's forecast high of 31 degrees with only a 40 per cent chance of a shower.
According to the bureau's statistics, Canberra had one of the wettest Januarys in more than half a decade, measuring 97 millimetres for the month at Canberra Airport, up from 4.8 millimetres at the same location in January 2014.
Last month also saw Canberrans pull out their winter finest early, when the city saw its coolest run of January weather in 15 years.
The start to 2015 felt particularly chilly considering last year was Canberra's third warmest on record with nine days of temperatures of at least 35 degrees, and three heatwaves in January, February and May.
