Professor Wei Erchen is the Director of the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts (one of the leading art schools of China). He is also the Director of China's Artist Council. Professor Wei and his fellow staff at Luxun have played a major role in the rapid development of dioramas and panoramas in China. Professor Wei and his colleagues will show examples, discussing the commissioning process, the technical challenges and the political dimensions of representing China's greatest military battles.
