Do you know someone who has English as a second language and is interested in improving their English skills?

Southside Community Services’ Optimum Training and Development has courses to develop skills in reading, listening and communication.

These courses are nationally recognized and accredited courses that are funded by the ACT Department of Training and Tertiary Education (eligibility criteria applies).

As well as equipping students with language skills, the course will also provide rich cultural and social experiences with excursions to many significant landmarks in and around Canberra.

The current course runs from September 15, 2009 for 12 weeks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am – 3pm. It has been specifically planned to exclude school holidays to ensure flexibility.
