Men's style at the Logies

The men of the Australian small screen looked sharp and sophisticated at last night's Logie Awards in Melbourne.

For a night normally reserved for the ladies, the gents stole the limelight at last night's Logie Awards thanks to five well heeled English gents.

While the sequins and jewels still sparkled, the gents of the small screen and the biggest band in the world, One Direction, upped the style stakes with splashes of colour, suspenders and interesting footwear.

Shades of grey, blues and bone were popular as were subtle style additions like textured ties and loafers, coloured handkerchiefs and heavily styled hair dos.

One Directions' Harry Styles took a Gen Y approach to the "black tie" dress code with a powder blue blazer, bow tie and Converse trainers, The Voice judge Seal, who appeared to share the same stylist as his co-host Delta Goodrem, was dressed in head-to-toe white while some of the Home & Away alumni opted for coloured open collars.
