Is there a message there?

Date

Two weeks into the "faux" campaign and the leaders’ contrasting fortunes couldn't be greater.
If there is a message, it’s being lost amid the noise emitted from the bad news dogging the Labor party.
The good news for Julia and the gang is that the Liberal message is also being drowned out.
However, Tony and the crew don’t need to do anything.
In fact, doing nothing is the best option as it ensures a smoother ride.
This week’s espresso video animation brings together one view of it.

  • It was almost as though Captain Gillardi was drowning in that sea of rather phallic looking
microphones. You know there is a consistent under lying theme in your work Rocco.

    • Yes Rocco - There seems to be some deep seated tendency in your illustrations leaning towards the phallic. Hopefully you're not copying the work of one of Darling Jools' greatest critics who lends himself to caricaturing her in sketches with "odd" attachments - he might come looking for royalties!!

    • Wonder if "SteveH." is still serving poppadoms to the spice girls from the kitchen rules show ?

Always appears to be an underlying feminist approach of the sexual kind from "SteveH.".

  • It reminds me of Whitlam's final days, except that then we had a PM who was genuinely clever, witty, articulate and interesting. Among other things he didn't speak with slogans and mindless repetitions (as I remember it). And there wasn't a boring ex-contender snapping at his heels. But I still voted against him.

    • Given he almost bombed out in the first lap with seven to go, one questions if The Fearless Friar has got what it takes to win the Archangel Stakes.

      • Unless my ear deceives me there was some Japanese/Chinese music in that mix ?

Appropriate considering this weekend is Chinese New Year.

        Good luck.
