A man has been threatened with a syringe and robbed while sitting in his car at Inala, police say.
The victim was sitting in a vehicle on Brolga Street when he was approached by another man who asked him a question.
The attacker then reached into the car and snatched the victim’s wallet from his shirt pocket. He then made threats and indicated that he was carrying a syringe.
Police said the robber took cash out of the wallet before returning it to the victim, and then ran off along Gannet Street towards Inala Avenue.
The man is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, about 175 centimetres tall, with a slim build and in his mid-20s.
He was wearing a brown hooded jumper and a cap.
