Win family superpasses to the Royal Canberra Show
Entries for this competition are now closed.
The ActewAGL Royal Canberra Show is back for 2014! Canberra's largest all ages event, is staged annually by the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society and will run from Friday, February 21 to Sunday, February 23.
The Canberra Times is giving readers the chance to win one of ten family superpasses, comprising of 4 entry tickets, 50 showbag vouchers, 60 sideshow coupons and $200.00 cash!
In 2014 there is a focus on themed elements for the Show, carrying the message that there is plenty to see and do: An Adventure For Everyone. As always there is plenty to do as a family, like the Farmyard Nursery, the rides and showbags or watching the events on the main arena.
There will be plenty of choice when it comes to food, with a range of tasty options in the Hearty Choice Food Court and around the grounds, like the new Arcobräu Beer Garden.
If you’re looking for fun, there are the rides, the rock climbing wall, showbags and the exciting entertainment line-up. We also cater to the fashion conscious, with daily fashion parades and the Focus on Fibre tent.
The Show is a celebration of farming. There are hundreds of exhibits entered in classes ranging from clothing and art, bread and flowers, to fleece, alpacas, cattle, sheep and horses. You can see all this and more during the spectacle of the Grand Parade, held on Saturday and Sunday.
