Dazzling Adele silences critics

Adele won six awards at the 54th Grammy Awards this week and also garnered an unofficial gong for being best dressed on the night.
They say looking good is the best revenge, which the 23-year-old singer did in spades, following Karl Lagerfeld's recent jibe that she was "too fat".
Adele walked the red carpet in an elegant three-quarter-sleeve black gown, before changing into a black sparkly Armani Prive cocktail dress to take to the stage to perform and collect her awards.

The Chasing Pavements singer has brushed off Lagerfeld's remarks about her weight, saying she's proud of her body because she represents the everywoman.
"I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that," she told People magazine.
The Chanel designer insists his comments were taken out of context.
"I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer. Sometimes when you take a sentence out it changes the meaning of the thought," he said.
