'He's lucky I didn't sucker punch him': Will Smith slaps red carpet reporter over kiss

Hollywood actor Will Smith slapped a reporter across the face after the man tried to kiss him on the lips.

It happened when Smith was meeting with reporters along the red carpet at the Russian premiere in Moscow of his new film Men in Black III.

A reporter greeted him by firstly shaking his hand and then kissing him on each cheek before attempting to kiss his mouth.

Smith was clearly shocked by the incident and angrily brushed the guy away, before giving him a backhanded smack.

"C'mon man, what the hell is your problem, man?" Smith said before trying to laugh off the moment.

"That guy just tried to kiss me on my mouth. Is he joking? He's lucky I didn't sucker punch him," he told onlookers.

"Oh sorry, I just said that on camera - don't worry it's all good," he quipped.

The reporter concerned is renowned for kissing and being overly affectionate with celebrities he is interviewing.

Smith soon regained his composure and began happily signing autographs for fans and talking to reporters.
