Khloe Kardashian has said she and her family felt "betrayed" by her stepfather Caitlyn Jenner, after the I am Cait star allegedly kept them in the dark about her gender transition, refusing to communicate unless on camera.
In a no-holds-barred interview with US shock jock Howard Stern, the middle Kardashian-Jenner sister spoke openly about the announcement of Caitlyn Jenner's transition last year, claiming that she and her sisters learnt of her decision only when Jenner's now-famous 20/20 Diane Sawyer interview aired.
Kardashian recalled first hearing about Jenner's transition during a business meeting.
"They mentioned Bruce had a television show about transitioning, and that's the first we heard of it ... We felt betrayed because more business people [knew]," she said.
"We felt so, like, what the f---! We've been asking you, and why do [business people] know? I never want someone to feel like they have a one-up on our family. We've never turned our backs on each other, with all the clusterf---s of shit in our lives, so why would we now?"
The 31-year-old, whose cable talk show Kocktails with Khloe will premiere next week, added that Caitlyn, who was still using the name Bruce, then had private talks with each of the sisters, explaining "his soul has always been a woman", but never suggesting that he would transition.
"Bruce made it a point for all of us to watch [the Diane Sawyer interview] together, and that's when it was the first time we heard a lot of things," Kardashian told Stern.
"We didn't even know about Diane Sawyer until it was taped and done. On that show is when we genuinely found out about transitioning."
Stern then asked Kardashian if she had spoken to Caitlyn since the transition, specifically pursuing an essentialist line of questioning about whether she had spoken to her about gender reassignment surgery.
"I don't know; we haven't talked about it," Kardashian prefaced her comments, before saying she thought there was "an 80 to 85 per cent chance" Caitlyn would undergo sex reassignment surgery.
"If your soul is a woman, why would you want a dick still?" Kardashian said, later clarifying that her comments were "total speculation".
In addition to opening up about her family, Kardashian also spoke to Stern about her ex-husband Lamar Odom, who made headlines in October when he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel after suffering from a suspected herbal Viagra overdose.
She told Stern she had never suspected professional basketballer Odom, who she was married to from 2009 to 2013, was cheating on her.
However, it became apparent during their relationship that Odom had been instructing his assistant to arrange dates for him with other women using her phone.
"He was really crafty," she said. "It was disgusting and I was pissed at the assistant."
Despite Odom's infidelity, Kardashian does still seem to love him.
When Odom was found unconscious and put into an induced coma last year, she withdrew her divorce proceedings in order to be able to make his medical decisions.
Speaking on the Today show this week, Kardashian described Odom as her "soulmate".
"I know he loves me. I know we loved each other. I don't question those feelings," she told Stern.
"I've always asked why. Lamar does ... did struggle with substance abuse. I do believe he has a sex addiction but I also don't know if I believe in a sex addiction that much."
