Kourtney Kardashian having a girl

February 23, 2012
Kourtney Kardashian

New chapter ... Kourtney Kardashian expecting a girl.

Kourtney Kardashian says she feels blessed to be expecting a baby girl.

After weeks of speculation, Kardashian has confirmed her baby's gender, and says she's thrilled to be welcoming a daughter into the world later this year.

"We feel so blessed to be having a little girl and to be able to share this new experience with Mason," Kardashian told E! Online.

The reality TV star announced in November that she was pregnant with her second child with partner Scott Disick. The pair have a two-year-old son Mason together.

"Kourtney was hoping for a girl," an insider told an American publication earlier this year. "She loves having a boy but thinks having a girl would be perfect so she can dress her up and show her the ropes in life."

Kardashian's younger sister Kendall Jenner also spoke of her desire to welcome another female into the family.

"I want (Kourtney) to have a girl," she has said.

"It would be so cute because when they're older, Mason could be like the protective big brother. And I feel like Kourtney could have fun with a girl - dress her up in little tutus and everything."

  • The fact that she's having another child with this poor excuse for a husband let alone a human being must say something about her. Have a little self respect, there are nicer guys out there, someone who treats their partner with respect ALL the time. From seeing ads on the show, Scott looks like a complete douche.

  • Who is this woman and why should her personal news take the place of something more important -- like actual news content?

  • I have been following this story for a long time and believe that all women do is behave like women, wondering when the tide will turn

    • @ Shoosh

Maybe you should follow more than one story before you make assumptions about what all women do.

Nevertheless, if we seem incapable of changing the tide of sexism in this country I dont see your cause having much luck either.

  • I've watched Kourtney give birth to Mason and her parenting style and she is a great Mum.

She had a drug free labour, she co-sleeps and Mason is not spoilt with a million toys, he plays with natural wooden toys.

She does not feed him junk food and I think he will grow up to be a fine young man.

    Good on Ya Kourtney
