Shortly before a mini-series on his life screens, Molly Meldrum is recovering from a fall in Thailand.
The former Countdown host slipped while getting out of a taxi at a Bangkok hotel.
The greatest superstars of a generation. You know them because of one man. Molly.
"I'm a walking disaster," he reportedly said.
"I'm with the doctors now, they're trying to put everything back together."
The 72-year-old music industry icon, who was seriously injured after falling from a ladder at his home in December 2011, was said to be in good spirits.
"I'm not sure what it was but I slipped on something on the ground and fell on the footpath but I'm OK."
Meldrum's long-term partner, Yan Wongngam, has a courier business in Thailand.
It's the latest accident for the music and TV icon.
During a trip to Perth in 2014, where he appeared on Seven's 24-hour charity broadcast event Telethon, he reportedly suffered burns when smoking while using the bathroom before confusing Vicks VapoRub for Sorbolene cream.
In 2011 he suffered life threatening injuries after falling from a ladder at his home.
Meanwhile Seven has been heavily promoting Molly, with Samuel Johnson playing Meldrum, before it debuts next month.
"My dad is an old drinking mate of Molly Meldrum's so, you know, I've been able to observe him, his mannerisms and his character traits for a couple of decades," Johnson told Fairfax Media last week. "So, yeah, being able to play him was not as daunting as it might have been because I have known him personally for so long."
The soundtrack from the mini-series, Molly: Do Yourself a Favour, has been a hit already.
Featuring such songs as Stevie Wright's Evie (Part 1), Russell Morris' The Real Thing and Skyhooks' Living In The 70s, it's at number 10 on the ARIA chart this week.
