Well, compared to The Upside founder's zen like existence, Margot Robbie lives every day like it's Mad Monday.

The Suicide Squad star is the latest Australian to be featured in the fashion magazine's popular "A Day In The Life Of..." column and her life reads like every answer Shane Warne would jot down on an e-Harmony survey for what he's looking for in his perfect match.

Robbie's refreshingly relatable daily routine starts with a cup of Dilmah tea and ends in the shower, beer in hand.

"I like to have a beer shower – a nice beer in the shower," she said.

"When I did Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, I was saying, 'Oh, my God, I can't wait to go home', and Tina Fey's costume lady was like, 'Me too. I can't wait to go home and have a beer shower'. I was like, 'What's a beer shower?'. She said she drinks an ice-cold beer in a boiling-hot bath or shower, and it made her sleep. I was like, 'That sounds perfect!'. So now when I get home from work, I have a beer shower or a beer bath if I have time."

The queen of the "throwback people", according to Vanity Fair, enjoys her brew at 6.30am while she completes night filming for her upcoming project, an indie film titled Terminal, of which she is starring and producing.

Come bedtime, the 26-year-old prefers J.K. Rowling to calming magnesium supplements.

"I'm a massive Harry Potter nerd, and although I've read the books probably 20 times each, I read Harry Potter before bed and it helps me switch my brain off," she said.

She also admits to hitting the snooze button and skipping out on morning exercise.

"I feel like my body looks better if I get more sleep rather than an hour at the gym."
