Miranda Kerr turns heads at Golden Globes after-party

Forget the fancy hotel, the makeshift tent outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel was the place to be following the Golden Globes.

It was there that Australian actress Naomi Watts and her partner Liev Schreiber, Idris Elba, Kevin Spacey, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and P Diddy, among others, gathered to munch on sushi and dance to classic R&B at the Weinstein-Netflix post-Globes party.

Also among the revellers: Bradley Cooper, Kristin Chenoweth, Steve Coogan and Taylor Schilling and other stars from TV drama Orange Is the New Black.

At the InStyle afterparty, Australian model Miranda Kerr turned heads after going "commando" in a tight-fitting, backless black Pucci gown with a thigh-high split. According to reports Kerr and her ex Orlando Bloom were keeping things friendly, sharing a drink on the dance floor.

Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, wasted no time cutting the rug to the sounds of Lionel Richie at the InStyle bash, while Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon made the event a family affair, attending with their daughter, Miss Golden Globe Sosie Bacon.

Emma Watson changed out of her show-stopping red Dior dress for the do, opting for sheer black floor-length number with sparkling embellishments.

Other revellers who dropped by included Uma Thurman, Jon Voight and Tom Hanks.

Matthew McConaughey caused a stir when he arrived at the HBO party. The Golden Globe winner (for best dramatic actor in The Dallas Buyers Club) arrived with more than a dozen people, including his wife Camila Alves, and caused a traffic jam of people with their entrance.

Sofia Vergara danced up a storm in the party’s outdoor area with her finance Nick Loeb on a covered pool. Other stars at HBO’s party included Tom Hanks, Mike Tyson, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The cast of 12 Years a Slave, accompanied by director Steve McQueen and Michael Fassbender, entered the Fox party to cheers from the whole crowd after their Golden Globes win.

The cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine were also celebrating their win at the Fox party, and watched a replay of their reaction to the award announcement on TV.
