Prince Harry's 'pool dip' dance

Prince Harry jumps into a pool fully clothed while dancing at a party on the Croatian resort island Hvar.

Prince Harry is to receive a right royal dressing down from military superiors for his latest round of wild party antics, a British newspaper reports.

London tabloids have been filled with photos of the 26-year-old third in line to the throne, taken during a recent holiday to Croatia.

The shots show the playboy prince dancing, drinking shots, dive-bombing in a pool and chatting up women at a club in Hvar, with the partying lasting until dawn.

"There will be words. This is customary when a (army) captain's behaviour raises eyebrows," a royal aide told Britain's Daily Star newspaper.

"In a few weeks, he will go to a base in Arizona as part of his training with the elite of the elite.

"He has to remember who he is and what his job is and learn how to behave.

"The prince was on leave but this behaviour demonstrates that there is a question over his judgment.

"Harry knows he is going to be photographed and has to use a bit of common sense."

The prince is soon to commence a 12-week course in the US as part of his army training to pilot £46 million ($A69.67 million) Apache helicopter-gunships.

"Any army officer should be carpeted for bringing the (British) Army into disrepute by appearing in photos like these," an unnamed military source told the Star.
